Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about getting started? Here are answers to the ones we hear most. If you don't see yours, call 412-438-3005 or send us a message.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We're in network with most major Pennsylvania insurance plans, including Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, Optum and Medicaid. Your cost per visit depends on your plan's copay, coinsurance and deductible, so it's worth calling the number on your insurance card to confirm your mental health benefits. Life coaching is not billed to insurance.

Where are your offices?

Our main office is at 1017 3rd Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066, serving Beaver County. Our Greenville office is at 46 N. Mercer St., Greenville, PA 16125, serving Mercer County, where Rob Henry sees clients in person. All of our counselors also offer telehealth.

Do you offer telehealth or online counseling?

Yes. Every counselor on our team offers secure video sessions for clients anywhere in Pennsylvania. Because counselors are licensed by state, you'll need to be physically in Pennsylvania during your session.

Do I have to be a Christian to see you?

No. Our counselors share a Christian faith foundation and offer Christian counseling to clients who want their faith included. It's always an option, never a requirement, and we're glad to work with people of every background.

How do I schedule a first appointment?

Request a session through our secure online form or call 412-438-3005. Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll match you with a counselor whose specialties, location and insurance fit you.

What happens at the first session?

Your first appointment is usually an intake. Your counselor will ask about what's bringing you in, your history and your goals, and you'll talk about how counseling can help. You can share at your own pace.

Do you work with children and teens?

Yes. We offer child and teen therapy, including support for pre-teens, teens, young adults and their parents, for concerns like anxiety, trauma, behavior, self-confidence and life changes.

What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.)?

A.R.T. is a trauma-focused therapy that uses guided eye movements to help reduce the distress connected to painful memories, often in a relatively small number of sessions. It's offered at our practice as part of trauma therapy.

Is what I share in counseling confidential?

Yes, with a few limits set by law, such as when someone's safety is at risk. Your counselor will explain confidentiality and its limits at your first session.

What if I'm in crisis?

We are not an emergency service. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.
