Couples & Marriage Counseling

Most couples who reach out aren't fighting about one big thing. They're stuck in the same loop: the same argument, the same frustration, the same quiet distance afterward. That pattern isn't proof your relationship is failing. Patterns can change, and you don't have to wait for a crisis to get help.

How couples counseling helps

Calm the conflict. Learn to slow arguments down before they spiral, and talk about hard things without tearing each other down.

Rebuild connection. Rediscover the friendship and small, everyday moments that hold a relationship together.

Restore trust. After hurt or betrayal, rebuild trust through consistent, practical steps, not just promises.

Prepare for what is ahead. Engaged and newly married couples can build healthy patterns before problems set in.

The 90-Day Marriage Reset

For couples who want a clear structure, our 90-Day Marriage Reset program walks you through three phases: stopping the damage, rebuilding connection and restoring trust.

Who you will work with

Couples and marriage counseling is offered by David Simons, LPC and Joslyn Justi, LMFT, in person in New Brighton or by telehealth. Christian counseling is available for couples who want their faith included in their care.

Want faster progress?

Ask about our Couples Intensives: focused one- to three-day weekday sessions with David Simons, LPC, starting at $800.

A note on matching

Who you're matched with also depends on your insurance and whether that counselor is in network with your plan. Most of our clinicians are also trained to help with concerns beyond their listed specialties, so you may be matched with a counselor who isn't named above.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll match you with a counselor whose specialties, location and insurance fit you. We see clients in person in New Brighton and Greenville and by telehealth, and we're in network with most major Pennsylvania insurance plans, including Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, Optum and Medicaid. Request a session below or call 412-438-3005.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, don't wait for an appointment. Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.
