Christian Counseling in Beaver County
Faith can be a deep source of strength, and sometimes it's also where questions and pain show up. At Encourage-ment, our counselors share a Christian faith foundation, and we offer Christian counseling for clients who want their faith to be part of their care.

What Christian counseling looks like here

Evidence-based care first. Your counselor uses proven approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), the same clinical care every client receives.

Faith included, at your pace. If you want it, sessions can include conversations about faith, hope and meaning, and how your beliefs connect to what you are going through. You decide how much.

Never pressured. Christian counseling is an option, not a requirement. We are honored to work with people of every background, religious or not.

What we can help with

Anxiety and depression, marriage and relationship strain, parenting challenges, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, chronic illness, life transitions, and seasons when faith itself feels shaken.

Who you will work with

Rob Henry, MA, LPC, CAADC offers Christian counseling when requested, alongside trauma therapy, addiction counseling and child and teen therapy, with in-person sessions in New Brighton and Greenville. Every member of our team shares the same faith foundation and can talk with you about how you would like faith included.

A note on matching

Who you're matched with also depends on your insurance and whether that counselor is in network with your plan. Most of our clinicians are also trained to help with concerns beyond their listed specialties, so you may be matched with a counselor who isn't named above.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll match you with a counselor whose specialties, location and insurance fit you. We see clients in person in New Brighton and Greenville and by telehealth, and we're in network with most major Pennsylvania insurance plans, including Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, Optum and Medicaid. Request a session below or call 412-438-3005.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, don't wait for an appointment. Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.
